Imagine if your ninja Tower Bloxx skills could win you a date with Miss UK? Sounds far-fetched? Well, the equivalent is happening right now in Malaysia.

Ozura Mobile has been running a tournament based around three of its mobile games: Beauty Queen: Workout, Beauty Queen: Catwalk, and Beauty Queen: Charity. The first focuses on fitness, the second on modelling, and the third on, yes, charity.

They follow the life of a real-life beauty queen called Gloria Ting, who was Miss Malaysia 2004. Mobile gamers have been playing the three games since March this year, uploading their high scores and trying to win all manner of cool gadget prizes.

This weekend, Ozura is holding the Grand Finals for the best six players, who'll be playing all three games in an effort to come out on top – winning a cash prize and dinner with Gloria herself.

Can someone bring this to the UK? We can see it working really well. Although there'd possibly have to be a fourth game – Beauty Queen: Seduction – where the heroine has to resist the fumblings of Calum Best, Teddy Sheringham and Lee From Blue in order to keep her dignity and avoid an embarrassing tabloid expose...
