Rockstar versus Timbaland's music title Beaterator coming to PSP in September
Two years later than expected
After a considerable delay (we first announced the title back in March 2007) it seems Rockstar is finally ready to unleash its ambitious music mixing project, Beaterator, on PSP.
Yes, it's still going with that name despite having had two-and-a-half years to think about it.
The Leeds-based developer has worked closely with pop mega-producer Timbaland to create Beaterator, which promises to provide a powerful but intuitive way to compose your own tracks, as well as laying on a range of more traditional rhythm-based challenges.
"I've worked closely with Rockstar Games to make something completely unique.” Says Timbaland. “Beaterator is like taking my music studio and turning it into a suite of tools anyone can use. We can't wait to hear the beats people make and share with the world."
The game/tool will be out for Sony’s handheld on September 29th in the US, while we Europeans will have to wait a few days until October 2nd.
