The Samsung Wave (or the Wave S8500 to give it its full name) has made its way over to the UK courtesy of T-Mobile and, very soon, Orange.

Previously we told you about the official announcement of the delicious-looking Samsung Wave, and it’s been lurking around the top of our most-wanted list since it was revealed at MWC back in February. Why?

Well, it’ll be the first Samsung unit to run on the company’s brand new bada OS, for a start. Plus it sports some pretty meaty specs that make it more powerful than an iPhone 3GS.

Then there’s the fact that it’s the first mobile handset to receive DivX certification for its 720p HD video output capabilities.

But the main reason we want to get our grubby mitts on the device is that it features an amazing 3.3-inch super-AMOLED screen that promises to knock every other touchscreen display into a cocked hat.

You can pick up the unit on T-Mobile at Phones Limited for £369.99 unlocked, or between free and £59.99 on contract.

The Orange website, meanwhile, has the device listed as “coming soon”.
