NaturalMotion's Backbreaker 2: Vengeance hits the Android Market, but only for Xperia Play

NaturalMotion has released an Xperia Play version of Backbreaker 2: Vengeance onto the Android Market, bringing the iOS sequel to the Android format for the first time.

Backbreaker 2 takes the basic concept of the first game - dodge and weave through a variety of defenders on an American Football pitch - and runs with it (as it were).

So that means there’s improved graphics over the first, even more showboating and obstacles to avoid, and - most bizarrely - a mode that sees you take over the defenders attempting to take down the ball carrier.

The version of the game on the Android Market currently only works with Xperia Play, so we’ll let you know when others can pick up the game.

If you have Sony Ericcson’s gaming phone, however, you can download Backbreaker 2: Vengeance now for $2.99/£1.84 (link).
