Michael J. Fox to appear in Telltale's final Back to the Future episode
Voices two characters from the film series
As enjoyable as Telltale's Back to the Future games have been, it's a shame the real Marty McFly hasn't featured so far (even if replacement AJ LoCascio makes for a very decent soundalike).
Great news, then, that Michael J. Fox will be appearing for the fifth and final episode in the series, as confirmed by the Telltale blog.
Fox will once again team up with Christopher Lloyd's Doc Brown, though he won't be playing his most famous role.
Instead, it appears he'll be voicing two other characters. The trailer below features Fox in a role said to be part of the original film series. It seems likely that it's the farmer who shoots at Marty in the original Back to the Future immediately after he returns to 1955.
The second role is unknown, but we won't have to wait too long to discover his / her identity, as Back to the Future: The Game: Episode 5 - OUTATIME will be launched on June 23rd for PC and Mac.
No release date has been announced for the iPad version just yet, but going on past form, you can probably expect it around a month later.
In the meantime, have a watch of Telltale's behind-the-scenes trailer to hear a snippet of Fox's contribution to the series finale.
