Official Atari Arcade iPad gaming peripheral 'available soon'
Two steps forward, one step back
Following the success of the joke-turned-product iCade, Atari has revealed its own arcade-like controller the AtariArcade - Duo Powered.
The veteran studio has also updated its iOS app Atari’s Greatest Hits, adding 'Discovery Bay Games Duo Controller' compatibility.
Atari’s new controller is smaller than the iCade, taking the form of a white plastic stand as opposed to Ion's miniature arcade cabinet. It also has half as many buttons - just four.
Hopefully that means it'll also be cheaper than the £79.99 iCade. According to retailer Discovery Bay Games, we'll find out "soon".
