Most Asus Transformer tablets getting Android Jelly Bean

Following hot on the heels of HTC's announcement regarding Android Jelly Bean, Taiwanese manufacturer Asus has come out to say that most - but not all - of its Transformer tablet range will be getting an upgrade to Android 4.1 (a.k.a. Jelly Bean) down the line.

If you're an owner of the Transformer Pad, Transformer Prime, or Transformer Pad Infinity, then you should get an OTA update to the latest version of Android "in the coming months".

It's not all bad news for owners of the original Transformer, though, as Asus also states that it will be "investigating Jelly Bean updates for other devices, but we are not in a position to confirm whether any other products will be eligible for an update at the moment."
