Fight off the hordes with DSi's Army Defender

There's not been much of interest dropping down into the DSi Shop in recent weeks, but Kaolink's Army Defender looks like it's worth raising heck for.

Firmly in the castle defence genre, it has you in control of a gun turret that you loosely aim with your stylus at the hordes of enemies who attack across the dual screens. (You hold your DSi like a book.)

Making things slightly more difficult is the colour coded nature of your adversaries. You can only shoot the red troops when your gun's red and vice versa with the green.

As you progress, soldiers, tanks, parachute troops, combat helicopters, fighter planes, bombers and elite forces will all look to over run your defences. Luckily, as you wipe them out you build up your 'fury' meter which enables you to launch an atomic bomb.
