If we were ever planning to self-hypnotise ourselves into a state of happy, out-of-it bliss, we think we'd use the music from Aquarium by DS's newly released trailer.

The video shows forthcoming DS games Aquarium and Fantasy Aquarium in action. And, as you'd imagine from a game that has you building up a tankful of fish then looking after them, that's not much action.

Instead, there's just lots of admiring clown fish and killer whales (Fantasy Aquarium lets you choose from a variety of underwater animals not usually found in your local pet shop or recommended for your standard starter tank – think dolphins and whales) as they loll about in the water. Check it out for yourself here.

As we reported when the games were announced earlier this year, they're more than simply an exercise in tranquillity. They also call for the player to create a harmonious tank by selecting the right fish, then keep things clean and healthy. You can also swap decorations and fish with other players wirelessly.

Aquarium by DS and Fantasy Aquarium by DS will be published by Mercury Games in February 2008. Let's hope they prove to be a catch worth bragging about.
