Rumour: Apple once again working on a smaller and cheaper iPad
For release in October
Here we go again. Website Bloomberg is reporting that Apple will release a smaller and cheaper version of its über-popular iPad sometime this year.
The miniaturised iPad will purportedly arrive in October packing a non-Retina display screen that measures somewhere between seven and eight inches diagonally.
Although Steve Jobs was never fond of releasing a smaller-sized tablet, it would allow Apple to compete with Amazon's popular Kindle Fire and Google's recently unveiled Nexus 7 tab.
We'll just have to wait and see whether Tim Cook feels differently from Apple's late CEO.
