Steve Jobs is ‘extremely happy’ with the imminent Apple Tablet
|

Last night, we rounded up a few rumours about the impending Apple Tablet, which has been rumoured and even demoed by magazine publishers in prototype form but which so far doesn’t officially exist.

To recap, those rumours were that there would be a 7-inch model and a 10-inch model, and possibly others as well. A demo of the 7-inch model would be available in January, and developers are being told to make their apps compatible with full-screen displays, so it seems likely that it'll run iPhone and iPod touch apps.

There’s just one more bit of kindling to add to the fire before we all go off to enjoy Christmas. According to a source - purportedly a senior employee at Apple -
speaking to the New York Times, “I can’t really say anything, but, let’s just say Steve is extremely happy with the new tablet.”

Another former Apple employee said, “You will be very surprised how you interact with the new tablet.”

So that’s it. The Tablet is surprising, 7-inches and 10-inches diagonally across, coming in January, and Steve Jobs likes it.
