Pokemon GO arrives on Apple Watch just in time for Christmas

Just in time for your Christmas Day walks, Pokemon GO has finally released on Apple Watch. 

Originally demonstrated in Apple's Keynote in September, the addictive AR game about catching micro-monsters has just got so much easier to play. Given that the Apple Watch was advertised around its fitness capabilities, it marries with Pokemon GO perfectly.

Combing gameplay, imagination, fitness, and the real world, this version of Pokemon GO works a little like the Plus accessory - only, more high-tech. Discover and interact with nearby Pokemon with a tap, and collect items from Pokestops. Once one of the little beasties does pop its head out you can catch it from your iPhone as normal.

This version of Pokemon GO logs your productivity, recording each session as a workout and counting towards your person Activity rings. So bundle up and work off all of that delicious Christmas food with some winter walking (and Pokemon hunting).
