Can Apple Watch make calls?
|

This is part of our massive Apple Watch FAQ, which should tell you everything you want to know about the gadget, its features, and its interface. You can find it here

Yes. The Apple Watch is rocking both a speaker and a microphone so you can have voice chats on the device itself. You can make calls using the phone app, or receive them as notifications.

There's a button during a phone call to send the call to your iPhone if you don't want to be talking into your arm like you're in the secret service. Or you can use a Bluetooth headset paired with the device to chat.

What you can't do is answer a call from your Apple Watch and have it go to your iPhone, which is annoying if you have your EarPods or whatever they're called plugged into your phone.

To mute a call you just place your hand over the watch. Ice cold.
