Sneaky Sasquatch is one of the most popular games on the Apple Arcade and for good reason. It features a large world that can be explored freely...well, almost freely and it gets updated frequently. Playing as a sasquatch (or Samsquanch as the friendly bear calls him), you'll need to obtain disguises so you don't scare campers in the forest.

Scaring campers will of course alert the rangers who will hunt you down and then punish you with a wholesome warning of "stay out of trouble, Sasquatch!'. But you have a ton of activities you can take advantage of once you have some disguises. From racing to golf, and even skiing, there are plenty of things to keep you busy.

And in a recent update, the lovely Marina has been added to go along with the park and town areas. Here, you can surf and catch some killer waves. Speaking of water, we're going to talk about fishing today. Fishing can be very important for your SS experience in different ways and we tell you what those things are if you're still pretty new.

Fish Can Be Eaten

Fish are some of the world's interesting sea creatures and are also some of the world's best foods when cooked and just like in the real world, you can eat fish in Sneaky Sasquatch. When going fishing, you can catch different ones and they will be added to your backpack.

This allows you to do a bit of double duty. You can enjoy a nice, relaxing activity and also give yourself a treat for later. So this is a win-win. No need to stop your fishing fun to go hunt for the food of campers when you start to get hungry.

Grab those fish, and then find yourself a table and dig in. It's definitely convenient, especially when you're focusing on capturing certain fish and don't feel ready to leave whichever fishing spot you're at. So go ahead and play (catch) your food and eat it too.

Collect Fish, Get Paid Handsomely

Another reason why fishing is so important in Sneaky Sasquatch is that it's a great way to get paid. Make sure to go and meet the fisherman. There are some stairs across from the ranger building that you can go down and will lead you to a new area.

This area has canoes that you can use to go across a pond. Eventually, you'll spot a building. Park the canoe, hop off and go say hello to the friendly fisherman. Exhaust the dialogue and you will receive a book to keep track of all of the fish you caught.

After catching some, head back to the fisherman and he'll pay you coins for your efforts. And the nice thing is that you can get some good coin for the fish you grab. You'll get more from fish than you do when you sell camper food to the bear (feel free to still do this too though. The more the merrier). So start fishing, fill up your book, and start building up your wealth by selling.

Get The Legendary Fishing Pole

Not only can you eat and sell fish in Sneaky Sasquatch, but you can also collect as many as you can to try and unlock the ultimate fishing pole. If you find this holy pole around the fisherman's house, he'll tell you about it and how you can earn it.

Really, all you need to do is keep fishing and filling up that fish book of yours with as many varieties of species as you can. Once you have gathered many and showed them to the fisherman, you will be rewarded the coveted prize.

There are larger fish out there that are impossible to capture with your current rod. Having this new, shiny one will make grabbing these much easier. And as you might expect, you'll get more coin for capturing these so it's definitely worth it to get this rod. Just take your time, relax, and have some fun discovering the many fish that the game offers.

We hope these tips will help you out with the game, and if you are looking for the best ways to earn coins in Sneaky Sasquatch, check out this guide!
