PEGI launches free iPhone app for mobile age rating
|

Next time your wee nipper says, "Mum, why can't I play Mafia 2?", you can whip out your iPhone and argue with conviction, thanks to the new PEGI app.

"Because it contains multiple, motiveless killing and violence towards defenceless people, darling".

The free app describes the ratings board, tells you what every age rating means, explains the descriptor images on the back of boxes, and contains a massive database of all 20,000 plus games PEGI's ever rated.

So now you can be everyone's favourite superhero, PEGI Man, walking around GAME and knocking games out of childrens's hands because they contain glamorisation of drugs, sexual violence, or mild bad language.

PEGI is available on the App Store now, for free.
