Attractive reverse tower defence game Anomaly Warzone Earth heading to iOS in August
Stick it to the towers
Chillingo and 11 Bit’s unusual spin on the tower defence genre, Anomaly Warzone Earth, has been confirmed by the publisher as an August release on iOS devices.
The game, which was originally released on the PC earlier in the year, sees you attempting to plan an attack on a series of alien towers around futuristic war-torn Baghdad.
Helping you achieve this is a series of special moves that can be deployed like smoke screens and air drops, as well as a variety of different unit types, which are naturally effective against different types of foes.
Anomaly looked absolutely splendid from our recent look at the game (video below), and we came away impressed last November.
It’s safe to say we’re looking forward to this one.
