First details of Ankh: Curse of the Scarab King for DS unearthed
Assil and chums return
PC owners may already be familiar with the Ankh games, which feature point-and-click adventuring underpinning humourous characters and narratives, all set within an ancient Egyptian atmosphere.
The DS version aims to remain loyal to the popular franchise, with brave young adventurer Assil returning alongside fellow characters Thara, Pharaoh and Osiris: God of the Underworld for another Ankh-related quest.
A mysterious storyline taking in several exotic locations ranging from bustling bazaars to the undergrowth of the Egyptian landscape is promised, along with the series' usual reliance on puzzle solving.
Ankh: Curse of the Scarab King is currently set for release in the last quarter of the year.
