Chinese social site Renren releases free iPhone snot-tastic castle defence game Angry King Kong
Pinging those elastic boogers
Everyone's making iOS games these days.
Even Renren - a Chinese version of Facebook - is in on the action, with its debut release Angry King Kong available on the App Store.
Aping around big timeIt's a pretty weird experience.
'An exciting, nerve wrecking tower defense game' goes Renren's description (technically we'd call it more like castle defence), but what you actually do is use King Kong's elastic booger to ping at the waves of tiny attackers who come to throw spears at him.
The longer you hold back your booger before letting go, the more powerful your slimy nasal attack.
Adding progression, as you complete levels, you earn in-game coins.
These enables you to power up your booger attack, or buy special abilities, such as shields, sonic burps and fart bombs, which you trigger in-game by tapping on them.
You can also directly purchase some or all special abilities via in-app purchases.
It's one to check out, and it's currently free for iPhone.
