Angry Birds might already be raking in cash and causing millions of players to be addicted to its just-one-more-go nature on iPhone, Nokia Ovi, and iPad, but the flinging finches have a few more stops planned on their quest for world domination.

Today, the game has been released on Palm’s webOS platform, bringing its bird-tossing charms to Palm Pre and Pre Plus devices running 1.4.5. The game is yours for $1.99.

Developer Rovio also has plans for the game on Android, as well as DS and PSP.

If that wasn’t enough, Rovio wants to see the birds and pigs on both the big and small screens, and is talking with studios and investors to bring the cartoon saga to TV and the cinema. Rovio is thinking of using the claymation look.

The company also has retail in its sights with comic books and toys pencilled in. If it works out, sign me up for a classic red bird for my desk - they’re my favourite.
