Crescent Moon Games has announced an upcoming game called "that's a cow", letting players control the titular bovine hero as it launches itself across the clouds using its own stream of milk. That premise alone (and the matter-of-fact title) should entice players to give the game a go, if the lighthearted silliness doesn't catch your attention first.

In "that's a cow", players control their cow's stream of milk to propel themselves across platforms, collecting coins and apples along the way. They can also use their handy milk stream to blast away at enemies who seem to have plungers for some reason. I'd hate to think just what their dastardly plans are for that poor cow - are they cooking up something sinister with those plungers in their hands?

The hero cow's jetpack udders aren't the only ridiculously fun thing about this game - you can also collect other versions of your cow with different headgears (and non-milk projectiles) via a gacha claw machine, making your journey through this 2.5D platformer more interesting. There are more than a hundred handcrafted levels to tinker around with, plus more than 20 cows to collect. The game also features cutesy artwork and lovely pastel-coloured shades.

If you're keen on putting your own cow-propelling skills to the test, you can pre-register for that's a cow on the iOS App Store and on the Google Play Store for Android devices. It's a free-to-play game with ads. You can take a little sneak peek at the embedded clip above to get a feel of the game's silliness, visuals, vibes and gameplay as well.
