New Android Market for porn-on-the-go

Third party app store could be used for ‘adult content’

It’s not so much the hardware when it comes to the prolific new smartphone trend, but the online application stores that back them up. So it’s no surprise that quite a few software companies are working on building third party app stores that can be plugged into any operator’s billing system.

Latest to enter the white label app store fray is MEGU Mobile, which has built a turnkey solution for software vendors, mobile operators and hardware manufacturers to provide their own paid Android Market.

Of particular interest is that MEGU Mobile mentions its system’s potential to carry ‘adult content’. Google doesn’t appear to have the same hang ups as Apple when it comes to installing content from outside its own application store, so it might not be long before we’re greeted by an online porn store for the Android.

Aside from the usual one handed surfing benefits, this could actually catapult the Android into the smartphone competitions that it’s been struggling to keep up with recently.

One of the primary reasons that both VHS and Blu-Ray won out over their direct competition is due to the formats’ adoption by the adult industry.

If Android is indirectly positioned as the platform of choice for the mature user, it could carve itself a very valuable niche that no other smartphone - particularly the iPhone - could hope to tackle.

Yes. Spanner's his real name, and he's already heard that joke you just thought of. Although Spanner's not very good, he's quite fast, and that seems to be enough to keep him in a regular supply of free games and away from the depressing world of real work.
