In a particularly meta press release, Supercell has announced their latest project in the form of mo.co, a monster-hunting journey where you bound through portal technology and take on fearsome bosses. Join the crew and start Ghostbusting across parallel universes.

You will be joining a small start-up consisting of three unique characters. Luna is the Head Hunter, in charge of planning and leading the adventures, backed up by Manny, the tech wizard who engineers all the gadgets. Finally, Jax is the Chief Combat Officer, the man who takes the set-up and gets results.

There hasn’t been much announced with regards to what the gameplay entails. In fact, the only thing we have to go off is about four seconds from a very short clip, but it still says enough for us to recklessly draw a few conclusions. For one, doors will spit weapons at you, so watch out for that.

The most concrete clue is the AoE marker put down by the two-headed fire-breathing boss. This definitely suggests that it will be a proper action game with movement and dodging attacks, a bit different from any other Supercell game which will be interesting to see. One of the “job perks” listed is also the ability to get epic loot from bosses, so these epic fights are the main draw and will need a bit of grinding for the best gear, as you would expect in these types of games.

Luckily for eager fans located in the United States, there will be an early-stage beta testing coming later this month, and mo.co does seem like it has a pretty interesting premise so it is well worth signing up. For the rest of us overseas, all we can do is kick our heels and make sure to sign up for future notifications.
