Rainbow Train's previous games oO and HOOK both combined simple controls and minimalist aesthetic to deliver uniquely challenging games, and Klocki looks to be a promising follow-up when it releases next week on iOS and Android.

Klocki's simple challenge is to connect different types of lines. Placed on various tiles, connecting those lines is as easy as sliding and shifting those tiles into position. Of course, it would be easy if the tiles weren't spread across multiple planes and oddly shaped geometric levels.

Some levels are cubes with different faces to rotate, while others are divided across multiple shapes in a single level. Special switches let you twist and turn the levels themselves, adding a tactile mechanic to the line-connecting puzzles.

Much like HOOK, developer Rainbow Train plans for this to be a calm relaxing puzzler, free of scores and timers. Just minimal challenges featuring varied mechanics.

Klocki will cost £0.79 / $0.99 when it releases on July 14th for iOS, Android, and PC/Mac.
