Last week Epic Games announced that it'd be bringing Fortnite to iOS and Android sometime this year, but someone else wants in on the action. Earlier today NetEase Games revealed that its upcoming title FortCraft's beta registration is now open.

FortCraft is a 100-player PvP battle royale-style game with mass building elements. You've got to gather resources in order to craft life-saving builds which can be accessed at the touch of a button. Sound familiar?

"We have built FortCraft to provide the essential Sandbox multiplayer survival game experience for mobile," said NetEase Games. "Players will be dropped into a 4x4 km map that has an amusement park theme."

You'll have access to a large weaponry, including a flamethrower for close combat, traps, and the dastardly dance pad to make your foes look foolish while you take them out.

Alright, alright, there's little point beating around the bush here. FortCraft is basically Fortnite with slightly different wording. We saw NetEase pull of a similar trick with Rules of Survival when players were calling for a mobile PUBG.

However, where it does seem to step away from Epic Game's epic title is that NetEase aims to make FortCraft accessible to users with older phones and also provides in-game chat for the ultimate teamwork.

How playable it'll be when its beta goes live, I can't tell you, but if you fancy checking it out you can sign up for iOS here or for Android here.
