Wozniak: 'No contest' between Windows Phone and Android; iOS 'more awkward' than Microsoft's effort
The iPhone is still his favourite, though
Steve Wozniak may have co-founded Apple alongside Steve Jobs back in 1976, but he's definitely not a fanboy when it comes to the fruity Cupertino-based company.
In a recent phone interview with the co-author of his autobiography, Gina Smith, and Dan Patterson, Wozniak had high praise for Microsoft's mobile OS.
"I'm kind of shocked. Every screen is much more beautiful than the same apps on Android and iPhone," the Apple II creator stated. He also said that using Windows Phone is like interacting "with a friend, not a tool".
According to Wozniak, there's just "no contest" between Windows Phone and Google's cumbersome Android operating system. Microsoft's effort even outperforms Apple's "more awkward" iOS.
Still, in spite of his comments, the iPhone 4S remains the Apple co-founder's favourite smartphone.
