OnLive-esque Gaikai client to be integrated into upcoming Android-powered Wikipad tablet

Remember the glasses-free 3D Android-powered Wikipad tablet that we told you about back in early January?

Well, its creator has announced a deal with cloud gaming specialist Gaikai that will see the OnLive-esque Gaikai client integrated into the tablet.

"We chose to partner with Gaikai's game streaming service for its leading performance, graphics, and content," Fraser Townley, Wikipad's president of sales, said.

"It is the leading game streaming solution with the best library of AAA games and we are thrilled to offer these high quality experiences to our users where Gaikai's network is deployed."

The Wikipad features an 8-inch display, a glasses-free 3D touchscreen, and - perhaps most impressively - a detachable gaming dock that packs shoulder buttons, face buttons, and dual-analogue sticks. Perfectly suited for gaming, then.
