RocketCat will submit Wayward Soul(s) to Apple for approval in the not-too-distant future

RocketCat's Wayward Saga isn't called 'Wayward Saga' any more. That's not really a surprise, considering the ongoing legal kerfuffle between King and Stoic Studio about the use of the S-word.
Instead, RocketCat's going to call it Wayward Soul. Or possibly Wayward Souls.
Either way, RocketCat is almost ready to submit it to Apple for scrutiny. All being well, Wayward Soul(s) should go live on the App Store later in the month.
RocketCat has released some video footage of the game along with the above announcement. In it, you can see a chunk of the third level of the final area of the game.
And it looks super-tough. So tough in fact that RocketCat has poured doubt on whether anyone would even get that far. Challenge accepted.
The game itself is a sort-of sequel to Mage Gauntlet, RocketCat's two-year-old Silver Award-winning dungeon-crawler.
At review, we said: "Simple but well-tuned fighting gameplay, combined with some great humour, make Mage Gauntlet worth conjuring onto your iPhone."
We've been excited about a possible sequel to Mage Gauntlet ever since.
Apparently, there is an Android version of Wayward Soul(s) in the works, too. Oh, and there might even be a Vita version in development.
We'll let you know as soon as we have any more concrete news about a release date for Wayward Soul(s).
