  • The game world continues to exist when you're not in the game, as long as you keep the process running in the background. While waiting for your goals to be reached and energy to refill, pop back in to make sure everything is still running smoothly – rubbish overflowing and supply shortages can often cause the town income to grind to a halt.
  • Place tech stations at regular junctures to cover the map. This will mean that when your buses and vans break down, the game will fix them while you're away.
  • Don't forget that the game is still called a 'playground' – you're under no obligation to jump through the hoops of the missions/tutorial provides (though you'll have to stump up Facebook wallposts or real money if you want to build certain structures before time).
