NetEase Games is bringing lots of good cheer this holiday season as Vikingard welcomes the Midwinter Festival of Yule into the fray. The latest update lets players score awesome in-game goodies along with decorations and themed clothing that they can dress up their characters with to truly feel the festivities of the month.

In particular, the latest event for Vikingard lets players adopt magical pets hailing from Norse mythology, as well as spruce up their Mead Hall with a Yule tree. All throughout the month, the casual simulation RPG is joining in on all the celebrations for the Fharun Tribe, and players must join forces with Tanngrisnir and Tanngnjóstr - the goats that are in charge of pulling Thor's chariot.

Players will collect special ornaments and keep the festivities of the Midnight Yule Festival going - even if it means donning their Viking warrior with chibi Santa-themed outfits. All of these are held in celebration of the midwinter festival of Yule beginning December 21st, which is the winter solstice.
