Our 21 most anticipated iOS and Android games for the rest of 2015
Star Wars! Scrolls! Pokemon! Bread!
Wow. We're pretty much half way through 2015. And it's been a pretty spiffing year for mobile games so far.
We've had highs, we've had lows, we've had quite a lot of middles, but we've powered through together, sharing and caring along the way.
But what can we expect for the second half of the year? What dreams may come?
Here are 21 games we've got our eyes on for the rest of 2015. Feel free to add your own in the comments.
I am BreadIt's a game about being a slice of bread. I don't know why you're not already super excited.
Raging JusticeHomage to the 2D side-scroller of yesteryear. Lots of punching, kicking, and bad hair.
CrashlandsButterscotch Shenanigans take you on a wander through the wasteland in this wacky 2D crafting game.
Calvino NoirStrategic film noir puzzle solving. Rob buildings, look moody in a trench coat, that sort of thing.
Spider: Rite of the Shrouded MoonSequel to the arachnid puzzler. More mansion, more webs, more mystery.
The Room 3Room Hard With A Vengeance. Expect more eerie shocks, more tactile puzzles, and more oddities. This one's got a creepy bald bloke.
DrifterIn space, no one can hear you drift. Kickstarted indie space exploration game. Be the captain. Say "engage."
Warhammer 40K: Eisenhorn XenosAnother Warhammer game!?! But this one's a third person action adventure. Slaughter Xenos scum. Giggle. Wear a cool hat, maybe. Cool coat, definitely.
Chroma SquadPower Rangers homage from the dev behind Knights of Pen and Paper. Tactical TV show action.
The Elder Scrolls: LegendCard game based on the smash hit RPG franchise. Think Hearthstone, but more Elder-y.
Final Fantasy VIIDo I really have to say anything here?
Brothers: A Tale of Two SonsTwin-stick, twin control puzzler. The brothers aren't twins though, and they've got different abilities you'll need to exploit to be victorious.
Lara Croft GONot a command, but a gorgeous looking distillation of tomb raiding mechanics. If it's as good as Hitman GO we're in for a treat.
Dungelot Shattered LandsMinesweeper meets a roguelike. Gorgeous cartoon graphics, and this time it's premium. Sweet.
UnkilledA game that is definitely not Dead Trigger 3. Shoot zombies, shoot more zombies, never stop shooting zombies.
ZodiacIntriguing looking take on the JRPG. You get to fly some sort of monster, which makes it instantly awesome.
Assassin's Creed IdentityIt might not come out worldwide this year, but it's an ace mix of touchscreen controls and people-murdering. With hoods up.
Pokemon ShuffleShuffle your Pokemon. I don't know what that means, but I'm pretty sure it's a pretty big deal. Match-three-kachu.
Dawn of TitansGorgeous looking RTS. It's a bit free to play, but you get to control enormous titans, which is a lot of fun.
Lumino CityThe sequel to Lume. Utterly engrossing, gorgeous adventure. Watch the video and fall in love.
Star Wars: UprisingAn action RPG set after the events of Return of the Jedi. Looks to bridge the gap between the original trilogy and the upcoming The Force Awakens.
