Final Fantasy 8’s Triple Triad card game comes to Final Fantasy Portal app

That collectible card game from Final Fantasy VIII has hit smartphones, but only in Japan.
Triple Triad, which first made its appearance in Final Fantasy VIII and later in Final Fantasy XIV, can now be played for free in the Final Fantasy Portal app.
This clearly modernized version of Triple Triad includes cards that feature several characters from more recent Final Fantasy games.

Again, this game is only in Japan right now and we’re not sure if we can expect a worldwide release.
If you can read Japanese or played enough Triple Triad that you can understand what’s happening without words, you can still play it using the Japan-only Final Fantasy Portal app.
