Connect tracks and avoid collisions around Europe in Train Conductor 3, coming in 2015

Announced today, Train Conductor 3 certainly seems to be the best-looking entry in the choo-choo action-strategy series so far.

Yep, the improvements over Train Conductor 2: USA are easy to spot in Train Conductor 3, as you'd hope considering the four year gap between the two.

This is the result of developer The Voxel Agents building the game from the ground up. It has dynamic lighting, HD textures, reflection maps, and lots more detail.

These improvements are more than just looks, mind. The length of shadows is how you tell you how much time you have left in each round - sunrise to sunset - so it makes for a slick interface, too.

Train Conductor 3 brings the series up to scratch for what we've come to expect from modern mobile games, then. But is it still fun?

It should be. You'll be connecting tracks up across the Arc de Triomphe, the tube system in London, and around the Venice canals.

The new fluid track designs allow you to curve tracks this time around. So you can expect to be creating hills, loops, branches, and even tunnels.

Of course, you'll then have to ensure that the trains can deliver their goods and avoid collisions. That's the hard part.

Train Conductor 3 will be coming to mobile in 2015. You can find out more details about it on the game's website.
