Top Gear: Caravan Crush takes from the TV show's most explosive challenges, out now

Top Gear may have lost its three hosts recently but it lives on. And not just through Chris Evans, either.

There's a new Top Gear game out today on iOS and Android. It's all about destroying caravans. Of course it is. Suitably, it's called Top Gear: Caravan Crush.

The idea is to launch a car across the Top Gear airstrip, bouncing it into as many caravans as possible, which each explode and launch it further.

Also thrown into the mix are nitro and TNT caravans that really kick your car a kick high up into the air. While the air caravans (held aloft by balloons) give you forward momentum.

It's like one of those browser games you've probably played before. But at least it has some decent crunch to it. The pyrotechnics and heavy metal are on point here.

There is some skill to it, too. You drag the car back with your finger to get a run-up at the start then launch it onto the oscillating ramp, hopefully while it's at its highest to get the most air.

Then, while the car sails through the air, you can tap to use whatever device you've attached to it. This starts out as an anchor for extra crushing power. But you can add all sorts of wild gadgets including a jet engine.

There are challenges to beat that give you coins on top of those you earn for the distance you reach. With those you can buy new cars, "topgrades," and tweak your current vehicle's stats.

There's also a premium currency that you can buy with real money. Some of the unlocks are only available to purchase with this other currency.

If you fancy blowing up some caravans you can download Top Gear: Caravan Crush for free on the App Store and Google Play right now.
