The Division Resurgence has announced its next phase of closed beta testing, due to launch later this year

The highly anticipated third-person shooter The Division Resurgence, which is itself a spinoff of Ubisoft’s popular MMO shooter The Division, has announced that a brand new phase of beta testing will launch later in the Summer of this year. This new beta comes with a decent amount of new content in comparison to the previous closed beta test too, so let’s dig in and see what’s new.

The Division Resurgence has been on many people’s radars since the announcement, given that it’s a mobile adaptation of a pretty popular triple-A game and is even being developed by a triple-A studio as well. The game is an open-world third-person shooter RPG set within a post-apocalyptic New York where you’ll spend most of your time battling enemies and players alike while you chase better loot.

This new upcoming beta test, which was announced from the official Twitter account, will include a higher number of participants, access to the main campaign missions in both solo and co-op, and new Factions and weapons to try out too! There’s also a teaser for “features you have never played before”, which suggests there’s even more built into this phase of testing.

So, if you’re lucky enough to get into this closed beta testing phase, you’re in for a surprise even if you got to participate in the previous test. You’ll have lots of new content to tackle, and different items to use to tackle said content.

And in case you’re wondering how to sign up and potentially participate, all you have to do is check out this link and input all the usual preliminary info and then cross your fingers that you’re one of the lucky ones! In the meantime, you can pre-register for the game by checking out the official website for iOS users or the link below for Play Store users!
