Original story follows...The chaotic Toast Time by Force of Habit is getting nine new levels next week, as well as a Steam release.
Developer Ashley Gwinnell spoke to us earlier about the update, called Uncle Martin's Freezer Cabinet, hinting at some of the new level names.
"One of the level names is a 'cool' pun - 'Goodbye Cool World,'" Gwinell explained. "Though the magnificence of that one is spoiled by the other - 'Test Icicle Chamber.'"
Each new level comes with its own song as well, meaning nine new tracks for fans of the game's score.
The frantic arena shmup got a Bronze Award from us this February, with our review praising the game's sense of humor, visual style, and "well executed" concept.
The Toast Time update and Steam version will launch next Wednesday, August 27th. You can pick up the base game now on Android or iOS for £1.99 / $2.99.
As of right now, there's still 45 levels to conquer before next week's nine bumps it up to 54.
