This War of Mine's latest DLC adds new characters, new locations, and a new ending

If you've played This War of Mine, you'll understand why it's one of the most harrowing and marvelous survival games on the market. As of this week there's been a fairly big update gone live as 11 bit studios adds a new (free) DLC.

To touch on it quickly, This War of Mine is an utterly brutal survival game inspired by the Bosnian War ('92-'96). Rather than playing as trained soldiers you're surviving as civilians caught in the crossfire. Mechanics, chefs, teachers, journalists, you name it. It's your job to make some difficult, and often immoral, decisions to ensure the survival of your group.

Two years after the game struck out in the world, this DLC adds new characters, new locations to explore, and a totally new ending which affects the outcome of the game.
