The Walking Dead: All Stars opens up a brand new location alongside a new survivor and a ton of in-game events with its latest update

In the latest update for the popular collect-athon RPG The Walking Dead: All-Stars - based on the incredibly popular franchise of the same name - players will now be able to grab themselves a brand new hero, plus experience a new area with tons of collectable gear and materials along with new in-game events as well.

This new hero is Malcolm, a mob boss who acts as a support-type agility character. His abilities are mostly used to up the attack of survivors within his party, though he can also dish out some serious damage with the pistol he wields. He’s sure to prove a reliable party member for any composition, buffing those around him and generally making everyone better in combat.

As for the new location, the Warehouse within the city of Buffalo, New York will see you take on new missions around a shipping container-filled dockyard. Here, you’ll be able to find a lot of new valuables as well as upgrade materials for your survivor’s gear pieces.

Beyond that new content, there’s also an entirely new main story chapter to experience. Chapter 36 sees a group of survivors unite with a small community in a new town to increase their odds of surviving the zombie hordes. It’ll shed some light on the lore of the game further, allowing you to see your favourite characters interact with each other even more.

Then, the new in-game events. The Town Management Event is pretty self-explanatory in its title, and will reward you with a Survivor’s Choice Recruitment Ticket if you manage to progress far within it. On top of this, there’s also a 7-day Login Event going on that will reward you for logging in consistently across the week, and will end on January 2nd. Finally, the Cave Digging Event can reward you with the character Jesus and also a ton of useful materials too. This one will run from December 28th to January 8th.
