We're starting to worry that Murder Files developer Relentless might be a little preoccupied by death. Its next game - The Trace - is yet another murder mystery whodunnit.

This time, you're Baltimore detective Sam Pearce, who is called on to investigate an apparent suicide.

You'll need to find hidden objects and clues which, with the help of your forensic lab technician partner Alex, will help you find the killer. You get to navigate from room to room, zooming in to study hundreds of different objects.

The storyline is scripted by David Varela, who wrote the Sherlock: The Network.

The game's coming out on iPhone and iPad on March 26th, and it will cost £3.99 / $4.99. An Android version will be able shortly afterwards. Check out the first screenshots, below.
