If you've always considered yourself something of a closet pharaoh, then Kairosoft's latest pixel-art time sink The Pyraplex might be just the management sim you've been waiting for.

Set in a thriving desert community filled with bustling trade and cultural diversity, The Pyraplex tasks you with building your very own pyramid.

Your pointy pile is no musty old tomb, though. It's your job to turn your stack of yellow stones into a thriving tourist hotspot, attracting visitors - and currency - from other cities.

If you need extra resources, you'll also be able to trade with overseas civilisations. You'll need the best items and materials around if you're hoping to impress the "Pyramid Association" during its annual evaluation.

Yellow brick code

A word of warning: like other Google Play releases in the past two weeks, The Pyraplex appears to have suffered some launch issues, with some 'droid customers unable to play due to "authentication failure".

The more recent The Pyraplex reviews have been more positive, but we suggest you proceed with caution, nonetheless.

All things being well, you should be able to download The Pyraplex from Google Play for £2.99 / $4.99 right now.
