Shaddap! Or you'll be talking to my Tommy gun, ya hear?

Sorry, I'm just getting into my 1930s gangster role for The King of Chicago, which will be heading to iOS and Android later this month.

Yes, I am talking about the 1986 Amiga action-adventure set during the Prohibition Era in Chicago, just after Al Capone's death. You play one of the crooks looking to take Capone's throne, you see.

Expect to have to perform drive-bys, meet the demands of your girlfriend, bribe corrupt officials, and keep your gang in check. If you don't manage to do all that, you'll be sleeping with the fishes.

The King of Chicago

As we noted back in 2012, Cinemaware has been looking to resurrect its Amiga games on mobile. Wings: Remastered Edition was the one it talked about resurrecting originally, and that is still on the way.

It seems as though Cinemaware has managed to get an iOS and Android version The King of Chicago up and running first, however.

We'll let you know when The King of Chicago goes live on the App Store and Google Play. Now, beat it, punk!
