Zombie stealth game The Incredible Corpse announced for iOS and Android in November

A zombie is an unlikely hero. But an undead corpse has the starring role in Eyes Wide Games's newly announced stealth action game, The Incredible Corpse.

But that's not the most unusual aspect of this iOS and Android title, due to launch at the end of November.

The first chapter of The Incredible Corpse will be free, but you'll be charged £2.99 / $4.99 for chapters two to six should you want them.

This is a good business model if development funds are needed to continue the subsequent chapters. But Eyes Wide has also taken to Kickstarter to find funds to finish The Incredible Corpse.

Apparently, the game still needs music and sound effects, bosses to beat, stat upgrades, and the developer also wants more community feedback.

The reason it's strange is because with the Kickstarter not ending until November 29th, Eyes Wide won't get the money it raises until we're well into December.

By that time, it plans to have chapters one through six available to purchase. So, is the plan to charge for unfinished chapters? Something doesn't add up.

It would be a shame for The Incredible Corpse to launch in an incomplete condition, because it has piqued our interest with its slick visuals and unique concept.

The game uses a touch and draw mechanic that allows players to create paths that the zombie will sneak along and beat up the aliens that have stolen humanity's brains.

Eyes Wide has plans to continue The Incredible Corpse for quite a while, with ten chapters already available to pre-purchase (at $50!) on the Kickstarter, supplying over 100 missions to beat.

Let's just hope all is in order come the end of November so that The Incredible Corpse makes a good first impression.
