The best iOS and Android deals of the week - The Escapists, Worms 4, Neon Chrome, and more
Decent deals for a decent day
Another Monday has come about once again and if you're in the UK right now it's officially summer. Aside from it being hotter than hell, it's also time to check out what sales are dotted about this week.
Across iOS and Android there's a bunch of fantastic offerings - some you've heard of and some that may be new to you. If you've a hankering for a digital board game, however, you can find some excellent iOS sales right here.
If not, keep on reading to find out what you could be splashing your cash on this week.

Age of Rivals
2
The Escapists
You're in prison and there're only two ways out - breathing fresh air or in a body bag. I'm kidding. If you get caught trying to bust out you'll just wake up back inside the infirmary. The same goes if you get caught doing anything naughty, like smuggling contraband or beating up a guard. So, don't get caught. Bust out and then do it again and again for funsies.

Halcyon 6: Starbase Command
- Platform: iOS
- Price: £4.99/$4.99
Get your management pants on in this space strategy RPG. With a bit of base-building on top of tactical combat, deep storytelling, and a hint of alien diplomacy, it's up to you to reclaim the derelict space station, Halcyon 6, and restore it to its former glory.
4
Infamous Machine
Help Kelvin stumble erratically through history as you work to repair the very fabric of time which your physicist boss, Dr. Lupin, has unraveled. This point and click adventure game is nuts in a multitude of ways, but at least you'll get to meet some familiar faces.
5
Iron Marines
6
Kingdom Rush: Frontiers
Kingdom Rush: Frontiers is a bigger, badder defence game than ever before. Send your troops off on their quest to defend exotic lands from dragons, denizens of the underworld, man eating plants, and more. There's plenty you'll recognise from its previous title, but there's a bunch more stuff thrown in for good measure.
7
Kingdom Rush: Origins
If you've had a blast in previous Kingdom Rush games, you know this is one you'll need to add to your library. Journey back to before Vez'nan ever threatened the kingdom and dive into more tower defence gameplay. This time you'll command your elven army to defend fantastical lands from all sorts of mythic monsters and gnoll tribesmen.
8
Last Horizon
Land on planets, gather terraforming materials, collect human survivors, and venture off into the deepest depths of space on the last vessel of a fallen civilisation. Don't get greedy in what you harvest, however. To do so may incur the wrath of the alien locals and you really don't want to tick them off.
9
Neon Chrome
Neon Chrome is a totally neon twin-stick, top-down shooter that we loved enough to give it a Silver Award in its review. Through procedurally generated levels, it's your job to choose your character, enter the elevator, take on the Overseer, and possibly die numerous times.
10
Shelter
Part post-apocalyptic survival game, part management sim, it's all about balance and risk as you make some questionable moral choices for your new 'family'. Though, when you do what it takes to survive, how does that change you as a person? I guess there's only one way to find out.
11
Star Nomad 2
Set in an open world spacey sandbox, you can choose whether to be space pirates, merchants, bounty hunters, miners, smugglers, or wanderers. Your actions always hold consequences between the major factions and it's up to you what side of a fight you want to be on.
12
Still Here

Worms 1-4
These classic battlers will have you grabbing your grenades and aiming for the soft spots. Fight against enemy players, take on a bunch of single player missions, enjoy a host of weapons (from the awesome to the bizarre), and settle in for a ton of fun, regardless of which you pick up.
