Mystery adventure The 7th Guest remastered exclusively on Android for its 20th anniversary

If you're not familiar with The 7th Guest already you'll probably laugh at it if you play its new remastered version that's just been released.

It was released on CD-ROM back in 1994 and mixed a lo-res images of a computer generated mansion with live-action movie clips.

It's certainly a relic of its time. But if you can look past that, or if you're operating entirely on nostalgia, then you'll find a mystery adventure to get stuck into

You enter Henry Stauf's creepy mansion to find out what happens in there. To public knowledge, six guests have entered since it was abandoned, and they never left.

Being a master toy maker, Stauf's mansion is full of puzzle boxes and little gizmos to solve. The puzzles are probably going to be what pull you in, if anything.

This new remastered is exclusive to Android (at least for now). Most importantly, it adds hotspots to scenes so you don't have to tap every pixel during searches.

There's also a new HD graphics mode, new music options and improved voice acting, new menus, new save system, and 27 achievements to earn.

If you're on iOS, there is an older version of The 7th Guest you can buy for £3.99 / $4.99 on the App Store still. It won't have any of these new options, of course.

Otherwise, if you're on Android, you can purchase The 7th Guest: Remastered for £3.29 on Google Play, or for the cheaper price of £2.79 on the Amazon App Store.
