In addition to the tournament drawing to a close, Gungho Online Entertainment also revealed a new hero that will be coming to the game, The Demon Queen, Oichi from the Sengoku BASARA series. She is a Black element Hero and will join as part of The Battle of Amatsu no Kuni expansion.

She will have three mythical Hero Arts to make use of in battle. The first is called Dancing Dead, which will deal damage to enemy units relative to the number of cards in your Graveyard. If this ability kills an opponent's unit your Hero will also gain +3 Life.

Despair, Wail, and Perish, meanwhile, will take three units from your Graveyard with an MP cost of four or less and put them onto the field. All friendly units will also receive +1/+1. Finally, Dark Invitation can be used to activate the Death abilities of a friendly unit.

Gungho also announced several updates that are planned for 2021. This includes new Friend Invite and deck gifting features alongside more single-player content. There will also be rule changes to matches that will see certain cards banned from ranked matches in Standard whilst Unlimited will permit the use of any. We can also expect some new characters too.

Teppen is available now over on the App Store and Google Play. It's a free-to-play game with in-app purchases.
