MWC 2013: Nvidia reveals 5 new Tegra 4-optimised games
|

At the Mobile World Congress event, Nvidia has just showcased five new Android games which have been optimised to take advantage of the chip manufacturer's much-anticipated Tegra 4 graphics processor.

Having already posted a side-by-side comparison video of a Tegra and non-Tegra version of Zombie Driver, Nvidia decided to show MWC attendees - and the world - another example of the Tegra 4's graphical clout.

The game in question is an enhanced version of Nutgee's RU Golf. In addition to online multiplayer support, the Tegra 4 version of this golf sim will feature extra visual whizz-bangery like specular lighting, bloom, lens flare, and shadows.

The Tegra 4 manufacturer also took to its blog to highlight undead blasters Burn Zombie Burn and Dead on Arrival, and third-person shooter Carie: Blood Mansion.

Nvidia also confirmed the rumoured Tegra 4 version of Codex: The Warrior, which will benefit from HDR lighting and dynamic shadows.

Given that Nvidia won't start shipping the Tegra 4 chipset to its clients until July, the release dates for these Tegra 4-optimised titles are very much up in the air.

In the meantime, here's that comparison vid of Zombie Driver. Should be enough to whet your appetite, I reckon.
