Namco Bandai's Tamagotchi Angel finally flies onto iOS and Android
Say 'halo' to my little friend
Namco Bandai has finally ported Tamagotchi Angel over to iOS and Android, a full seven years after we reviewed the original mobile version.
If you are in the slightest bit familiar with the Tamagotchi virtual pet games, then you won't need much background here.
In essence, you raise your little Angel in Angel City from a tiny baby to an adult. It's necessary to nurture it at every stage, attending to Life, Happiness, Hunger, and Effort.
All familiar features if you've played a Tamagotchi game before, then.
HeavenlyThere are, however, new mini-games designed specifically for smartphones in the Tamagotchi Classic Angel mode.
Expect to be swiping away bats trying to steal your Angel's candy, for example. You can also grab wallpapers, view a gallery of all your babies, and try out the other mini-games.
You can pick up Tamagotchi Angel from the App Store for £2.49 / $3.99 [buy], and from Google Play for £2.15 / $3.61 [buy].
