Talking Tom Hero Dash is sprinting up the mobile gaming charts

Talking Tom and Friends, Outfit7’s flagship franchise, recently added a new title to its litter of games for mobile: Talking Tom Hero Dash. Released worldwide last week, this endless runner has already made the top 10 in mobile gaming charts in more than 60 countries across the world and been downloaded millions of times. This follows a pre-registration which garnered 4.5 million enthusiastic signees. With stats like that, it looks like Tom’s a lucky cat.

In Talking Tom Hero Dash, the famous feline and his furry friends are caught up in a never-ending squabble with raccoons. Hell-bent on causing a nuisance worldwide, gangs of raccoons are vandalising cities and kidnapping Tom’s mates. Kitted out in superhero gear, it’s up to Tom and his friends Angela, Ben, Hank, and Ginger to save the day.

Fans of Subway Surfers, Jetpack Joyride and Minion Rush will be in enjoyably familiar territory here. This three-lane endless runner has you controlling one of the Talking Tom super-cats as they hurtle along streets hurdling obstacles in their way and using power-ups to trigger their special moves. Swipe into the path of the raccoons you spot to give them a well-earnt biffing, and collect the gold coins strewn about the map. If you’re wondering what a cat could possibly do with a pot of gold, you can spend it on cleaning up the cities the raccoon gangs have spoilt. Each time you rebuild a city, you’ll face the raccoon boss in a mini-battle. Defeat them to unlock brand new worlds to run around and to free one of Tom’s friends.
