Super 80s World brings its pixel-based platforming to Android

Looking for a mobile platformer that lets you flash back to the past? Super 80s World from Tap Tap Good is the perfect candidate, having already allowed iOS players to rewind time and save the decade when it launched back in March. Today Super 80s World has made the jump to Android, bringing with it a fresh HUD, improved gameplay, and an all-new Android exclusive mini game.

Players are tasked with bouncing, flipping and sliding through five unique worlds to prevent a mad scientist from erasing the 80s from humanity’s timeline. From the neon-laced beaches of the Miami strip to the flashy glow of coin-operated arcades, Super 80s World provides the ultimate challenge in platforming while featuring well over 1,700 goodies to collect.

Super 80s World offers an appreciated hit of nostalgia while gifting players with a platforming experience that boasts a modern feel. You’ll be re-building that collection of VHS tapes, audio cassettes and video games in no time, jumping and running to the game’s synthwave soundtrack as you try to secure that top score. Will you be able to outrun the 80s and save the day?

New to the Android version of Super 80s World is Chopper Commando, an entirely standalone mini game that comfortably sits alongside the four others already included. Here you’ll pilot a badass chopper in the hopes of completing as many raids as possible. Like Super 80s World, it’s utterly faithful to the era.

Try your hand at the glitzy platforming action Super 80s World provides. You can pick it up from the Google Play store from today onwards.
