Subway Surfers hits 4 billion lifetime downloads thanks to the endless runner's consistently fresh content

Copenhagen-based SYBO is celebrating an epic milestone in Subways Surfers, which just hit a whopping 4 billion lifetime downloads. With an average of more than 20 million daily active users (DAU) to date, it's no wonder the popular endless runner is enjoying all its success even after nearly 11 years since it was first launched.

Subways Surfers also boasts more than 150 million monthly active users (MAU) along with a viral TikTok popularity in recent times, likely thanks to its consistent World Tour that offers players new locations to put their endless running skills to the test every month.

Over ten years in the making, we’re beyond proud of our team at SYBO for hitting this milestone of 4 billion downloads and grateful to our global community of Surfers who have stayed devoted to the game along the way,” says Mathias Gredal Nørvig, CEO of SYBO. “2022 was a pivotal year for Subway Surfers as it was named the most-downloaded mobile game, and this year we plan on giving fans fresh ways to engage with the IP.
