Subway Surfers celebrates Pride Month and stops in Chang’an for the Subway Surfers World Tour

Subway Surfers, SYBO’s insanely popular endless runner, is celebrating diversity this Pride Month. As the Subway Surfers World Tour makes a stop in Chang’an, the game is inviting everyone to join in on the inclusive fun.

Regardless of race, religion, or sexual orientation, the Subway Surfers World Tour welcomes players of all shapes and sizes as you dash and dodge your way through the breathtaking mountains of Chang’an. SYBO Games’ long-running practice of promoting diversity and inclusion encourages fans to show their true colours now more than ever.

In line with the game’s core values on D&I, SYBO Games has released an uplifting and ultra-energetic trailer to celebrate what makes players unique, which you can see above. To quote from the clip, “all religions, all beliefs, and all abilities” are welcome, especially since players can team up with the new Pridebot to collect tokens for the Season Hunt.

They’re also promoting empowering messages of staying true to one’s self through Pride-themed graphics and artistic typography. These positive messages include “I am so proud of the community I belong to”, “Love always wins”, “Love who you are”, and “Proud of my roots”.

Fans of the beloved franchise can take part in the world tour event through the gameplay live stream, or participate in the giveaways on the game’s social media channels. For instance, during its 9th-year birthday celebration last month, a code was announced on Facebook that unlocked the exclusive free 9th Birthday board.

Subway Surfers is available to download on the App Store and on Google Play. It’s a free-to-play game with in-app purchases. You can also check out the official website to stay updated on the latest developments.
